A LITTLE MORE ABOUT US

Scott and Diane Strand, the owners of JDS Actors Studio and JDS Video & Media Productions, launched JDS Creative Academy in Temecula, CA, April 2014, to serve the entire Southwest Riverside County area, including Temecula, Murrieta, Wildomar, Menifee, Lake Elsinore, Winchester, French Valley, Hemet, Idyllwild, Fallbrook, Aguanga, and Anza. Born from their desire to provide programs that advance education in all the arts. The academy welcomes students who are looking for in-depth creative training, apprenticeships, and career pathways.

JDSCA believes that an education not enhanced by the arts is just empty knowledge without passion. Our aim is to instill the kind of artistic drive that spearheads the creativity needed for students to succeed in college and beyond. Today’s emerging industries demand a workforce knowledgeable in video production, as well as the visual and performing arts.

STEM TO STEAM:
Our curriculum is designed with a STEAM perspective which includes planning exercises, activities, and hands-on learning programs; that both illustrate where the subjects overlap with the arts, and provide a living and adaptable learning structure for ever-changing personal and global development.

A MUST-HAVE FOR HOMESCHOOLERS

Unfortunately, arts education is often lacking in both traditional and homeschooling environments. This is a great loss for students everywhere. Classes in acting or musical theater can teach confident self-expression, a crucial ability for success in future endeavors.

JDSCA also focuses on collaborative projects, which help counteract the loss of social interaction experienced by many home-schooled students.

JDS Creative Academy provides a safe, positive, and creative atmosphere for youth and young adults to learn the arts, gain hands-on training, and acquire the skills necessary to advance into higher education and prosper in a competitive marketplace.
