About the Class
Step onto the stage and experience the magic of musical theater in a fun and supportive environment! Each semester, students dive into singing, acting, and movement while preparing for a full-scale musical production. Whether you’re an aspiring performer or just looking for a creative outlet, this class is the perfect opportunity to build confidence, develop new skills, and bring a story to life.
Under the guidance of industry professionals, students will learn essential vocal techniques, master music reading and harmonization, and practice stage movement and acting skills. From sight-reading and rhythms to singing with live accompaniment, we’ll cover everything needed to enhance performance abilities and create an unforgettable show!

Ages: 7+ | All Abilities Welcome | No Experience Necessary
When: Thursdays from 5:00 – 7:00 PM (16 Weeks)
Class Starts: August 29th, 2024
Final Performance: December 14th & 15th, 2024
Cost: $500 + $48 registration fee

Meet Your Instructors: Sheila Ryle & Scott Strand
Sheila Ryle is a seasoned show choir instructor, founder of Shakespeare in the Vines, and Artistic Director for multiple productions. She has worked extensively in musical theater education and currently sits on the River Springs Charter School board.
Scott Strand is a Master Acting Coach and Co-Founder of JDS Creative Academy with years of experience mentoring performers and guiding students to success in the entertainment industry.
