Creative Writing
Ages: 12+ | All Abilities Welcome
Class Details:
- When: Mondays, 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM
- Duration: 16 weeks
- Start Date: January 27th, 2025
- Final Presentation: May 17th & 18th, 2025
Cost & Enrollment:
- Tuition: $500 + $48 annual registration fee
- Payment Options:
- $125 per month (4 classes per month)

What You’ll Learn:
✔️ Storytelling fundamentals (structure, plot, & character development)
✔️ Scriptwriting techniques for TV, film, & theater
✔️ Writing dialogue & creating compelling narratives
✔️ Pitching ideas & submitting work for competitions
✔️ Monetizing your writing & exploring career opportunities
Backstage Production
Ages: 12+ | All Abilities Welcome
Class Details:
- When: Wednesdays, 4:30 PM – 6:30 PM
- Duration: 16 weeks
- Start Date: August 28th, 2024
- Final Production: December 14th & 15th, 2024

Musical Theater
Ages: 7+ | All Abilities Welcome | No Experience Necessary
Class Details:
- When: Thursdays, 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
- Duration: 16 weeks
- Start Date: August 29th, 2024
- Final Performance: December 14th & 15th, 2024
- Production: The Addams Family School Edition
- Auditions: Held during the first two classes (No preparation needed – every student gets a role!)

- Final Event: Haunted Studio Fundraiser – October 25th & 26th
Cost & Enrollment:
- Tuition: $125 (scholarships not available for this class)

✔️ Set building, special effects makeup & prop creation
✔️ Lighting & ambiance techniques for maximum scare factor
✔️ Performance & character development for a haunted experience

At JDS Creative Academy, our mission is to make the arts accessible to everyone. As a nonprofit organization, we are committed to providing opportunities for all students, regardless of financial circumstances. Each semester, we offer scholarship funding to help reduce tuition costs for those who need assistance. If you’re passionate about joining one of our programs but have financial concerns, we encourage you to apply!
How to Apply:
