Film Making

Wednesday 6pm – 7:30pm

• Brainstorm and write a movie script
• Plan and implement the movie production process (location, casting, props, crew, etc.)
• Shoot and edit a film
• Learn about sound mixing, music and sound effects
• Get exposure to professional expectations whilst being in safe and fun learning environment
• Collaborate with other students

 

Instructor Bobby Logan

Bobby Logan is a writer, producer and director of countless comedy sketches, movies, specials and TV shows. Bobby worked at the famed Comedy Store for years, writing for comics such as Garry Shandling, Sam Kinison, Joan Rivers and Rodney Dangerfield to name a few. He has written a multitude of comedy variety TV series, like “Dennis the Menace”, “Popples”, “Ghostbusters”  and more, as well as programs starring Howie Mandel, Arsenio Hall and Leslie Nielsen. He is an acclaimed director for films such as “Yard Sale”, “Meatballs 4”, “Repossessed” and MORE! Mr. Logan has many years of experience in teaching film and love to teach aspiring feature moviemakers what they “really” need to know in order to produce their own film.
