Ages: 12+ | All Abilities Welcome
Class Details:
- When: Mondays, 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM
- Duration: 16 weeks
- Start Date: August 25th, 2025
Cost & Enrollment:
- Tuition: $500 + $48 annual registration fee
- Payment Options:
- $125 per month (4 classes per month)
- Pay in full ($500)
- Scholarships: Available (apply during enrollment)
What You’ll Learn:
- Learn key principles of script formatting, story structure, dialogue, and character development
- Write original scenes and short scripts through guided prompts and exercises
- Understand the storytelling process from concept to completed script
- Participate in writing workshops to give and receive feedback in a supportive environment
- Strengthen editing skills to refine and elevate your work
Prepare work for public sharing through the Showcase
Ages: 10+ | All Abilities Welcome
Class Details:
- When: Wednesdays, 4:30 PM – 6:30 PM
- Duration: 16 weeks
- Start Date: August 27th, 2025
- Final Production: December 19th (Show Preview), 20th, & 21st, 2025

What You’ll Learn:

✔️ Lighting design & technical production

Ages: 8+ | All Abilities Welcome | No Experience Necessary
Class Details:
- When: Thursdays, 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
- Duration: 16 weeks
- Start Date: August 28th, 2025
- Final Performance: December 19th (Show Preview), 20th, & 21st, 2025
- Production: Frozen Jr.
- Auditions: Held during the first two classes (No preparation needed – every student gets a role!)

- Duration: 5 weeks
- Start Date: September 24th, 2024
- Final Event: Haunted Studio Fundraiser – October 24th & 25th
Cost & Enrollment:
- Tuition: $125 (scholarships not available for this class)
What You’ll Learn:
✔️ Haunted house design & maze planning
✔️ Set building, special effects makeup & prop creation
✔️ Lighting & ambiance techniques for maximum scare factor
✔️ Performance & character development for a haunted experience

At JDS Creative Academy, our mission is to make the arts accessible to everyone. As a nonprofit organization, we are committed to providing opportunities for all students, regardless of financial circumstances. Each semester, we offer scholarship funding to help reduce tuition costs for those who need assistance. If you’re passionate about joining one of our programs but have financial concerns, we encourage you to apply!
