JDS Creative Academy (JDSCA) has two GoFundMe campaigns running, and we need your support to continue our mission of fostering creativity in our community. As a nonprofit, JDSCA is dedicated to providing access to the arts for individuals of all abilities, backgrounds, and experiences. Whether it’s youth, teens, or adults—including those with intellectual and developmental disabilities—we create a safe and inclusive space for everyone to express themselves artistically. Your donations fuel our ability to serve the community through programs that inspire, educate, and empower through the arts.

One of our campaigns directly supports our scholarship program, allowing students to participate in creative programs like acting, scriptwriting, filmmaking, fashion design, and our annual “Design, Build, Haunt!” class. This unique program culminates in our Haunted Studio fundraiser, where participants gain hands-on experience in set design, makeup, and acting. Your contributions to this campaign will ensure that financial barriers don’t stand in the way of anyone’s creative journey.

Our second campaign, “Breaking the Employment Barrier,” addresses the critical issue of employment for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Through this initiative, JDSCA seeks to transition interns in our Title-17 Job Training program into permanent employees. We aim to support businesses by covering payroll costs for the first year of employment, making it easier for employers to offer full-time roles to our talented participants. Your donation will also fund essential roles at JDSCA, such as a business development liaison and a job coach to ensure participants’ success during their internships and employment. Together, we can break down barriers and create a more inclusive workforce for all.

Please consider donating to one or both of these worthy causes and help us continue to serve our community through the power of the arts. Thank you for your support!
